Radio Circus was born in 1949 thanks to Louis Merlin’ s idea of creating an “wandering” radio composed by an entertainment par with circus, and the second one with the radio.
The 31st of March 1949 appears the first sign of Radio Luxembourg on the Gruss-Jeannet’s circus pediment. Radio Luxembourg starts travelling around Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Germany with some of the most important circuses at that time.
The itinerant company consisted of 100 trucks, a team of 500 workers and engineers.
