Camp n°188 near Tambow was one of many prisoner-of-war camps in former Soviet Union. For many months and even years, there were some 1000 Luxembourger detainees in this camp as well, among them our five contemporary witnesses (Gaston Junck, Alphonse Niederweis, Joseph Steichen-Regenwetter, Raymond Thommes and Emile Roegel), who report on their experience in the Tambow prison camp.
