“Télé Luxembourg”, the first Luxemburgish TV-channel in French, was inaugurated on the 14th May 1955, after experimental broadcasts had already started in January of that year. In 1956 its studio moved to the Villa Louvigny.
In 1968/69 the linguistic TV-world in Luxembourg changed with the creation of a program in Luxemburgish, namely the „Hei Elei, Kuck Elei“. This channel focused on Luxemburgish policy, society and culture. Between 1980 and 1995 before the radiation of this channel a program in Italian, “Buona Domenica” (Good Sunday), was showed.
