Natalia Costea, a former student from our Master program, has been invited by Renée Wagner to present the results of her master thesis.
She focused on the changing public attitude towards alcoholism in the Seventies. The new “Centre thérapeutique d’Useldange” offered a specialised treatment, whereas formerly alcoholics had been interned in the general psychiatric system. At the same time, the centre was the expression of handling the reality of alcoholism more openly and without moralizing.
